AccuMobile Storage, Inc. is continuing to be a leader in the mobile storage industry by developing stronger, more resilient mobile storage container, weather resistant vinyl covers, double reinforced doors with a piano hinge, and a heavy-duty lever action locking system. All of these features ensure your belongings remain safe and secure during transportation and storage. AccuMobile Storage is locally owned and operated, and was started in 2002. The owner, Jim Tobin, realized the demand and growing need for mobile storage. Jim Tobin experienced the anxiety over renting a truck and moving, and looked for a better method. Jim Tobin is a Certified Self Storage Manager (CSSM) and is the only CSSM in our area.
Our delivery system allows us to gently lower and retrieve the AccuMobile Storage vaults, and our customers can take their time loading and unloading the AccuMobile Storage vaults. Another advantage is that the customer only has to handle their belongings once to load the vault and then to unload. What could be easier! Jim Tobin also noticed that the large construction containers did not fit in condo and apartment parking spaces or in many driveways, so the Accumobile Storage vault is 5’ wide, 8’ long and 7’high—large enough to store a room full of furniture. The other thing Jim Tobin noticed is that in Florida we have a high humidity level which causes damage to many items, so at AccuMobile Storage everything is stored in a secure, clean, climate controlled warehouse. AccuMobile Storage is a member of the Self Storage Association, the Mobile Self Storage Association, the Greater Halifax Area/Daytona Beach Chamber of Commerce, the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce, and the Port Orange—South Daytona Chamber of Commerce.
